FOR THE DAUGHTER WATCHING IT HAPPEN

When Your Parent Has Dementia, No One Tells You This Part

A free guide for the daughter watching her parent fade away, stage by stage: what's happening, what you'll feel, and what you can do about it.

Maybe you're just starting this, and the scariest part is not knowing what's coming next. Or maybe you've been in it for a while now, running on overwhelm and adrenaline, so deep in survival mode that you can't even think straight anymore. Either way, most of what's out there wasn't written for you, it was written about your parent. This is the guide that's actually about what you're carrying.

What's actually happening with your parent, in plain language, not clinical jargon

What you're probably feeling, even the feelings you'd never admit to anyone

What you can actually do about it, real next steps, not just platitudes

Why I get it

I'm Michelle.

My mom was my best friend and my matron of honor before dementia took everything from her, then eventually took her from all of us.

While she was sick, I was constantly second-guessing myself, wondering if I was spending enough time with her, if I was doing right by my own family, if any of it was enough.

I know what it's like to feel like a horrible person for feelings you never asked to have.

Now I help women in the middle of this exact thing, not to fix your parent's dementia or Alzheimer's, but so you can stop carrying all of it alone, and stop believing that how you feel makes you a terrible person.

If you ever lie awake at night scared to death of what's next or just praying this will all be over, this guide is for you.
